Description

Delaware Rising Football Club is the first men’s amateur soccer club based in Delaware, OH. We compete in the Northern Ohio Soccer League (NOSL), which is considered the 5th Division of the US soccer pyramid. Our club was founded in 2020 and plan to play our inaugural season in 2021.

Mission

As a club, our mission is to unite our community through soccer, provide developmental opportunities for all players, and advance the beautiful game in Delaware County.

Nathan Chwalik

Nathan has been a resident of Delaware County since the age of 7, attending St. Mary for elementary school and Buckeye Valley for High School.

He was part of the local youth soccer program, playing for the Delaware Knights, FC 42, and Buckeye Valley. Nathan went on to play college soccer at Walsh University, and founded DRFC to support the level of talent in the area. He currently coaches at Buckeye Valley High School.

Andrew Chwalik

Andrew has been a resident of Delaware County since the age of 12, attending St. Mary in downtown Delaware for elementary school.

He was a part of the local youth soccer program as a Delaware Knight and went on to play college soccer at Walsh University.
