We hope to use the website as a platform to provide more in-depth news, quotes, and updates surrounding the club. You’ll be able to learn more details here than you might find just on the Delaware Rising social media.

The club has been making preparations and plans for programming in 2022 since the conclusion of Delaware Rising’s inaugural summer season.

Club director, Nathan Chwalik, spoke on the premise for the nonprofit club to be an asset for the county of Delaware in fostering community and the health and well-being for all residents.

“I’m so proud of our club and everyone involved with the inaugural season! The first season for our men’s team was a success. Now that we have a better idea of the operations involved, our small but mighty volunteer staff can focus on creating a more professional experience for players, coaches, and fans, as well as bringing different types of programming to adults, youth, and women, which has been the goal since Delaware Rising’s inception.”

“We have plans to host youth camps throughout the year, as well as continuing to promote and program adult pick-up soccer. Updates on those will becoming in the next few weeks,” Nathan mentions. Delaware Rising has held numerous pick-up sessions in the fall alongside the Facebook Group, Delaware Ohio Pickup Soccer.

Another one of the offseason projects of Delaware Rising has been the addition of Delaware Rising eSports, which has been spearheaded by Delaware native and newly appointed Director of eSports, Jack Scheeler.

The eSports program has featured a Rocket League team scrimmaging different college eSports programs and competing in different gaming leagues and featured FIFA22 players that have competed in national tournaments. FIFA 22 player, Sandro Llugjuraj, was a Semi-Finalist in the Lower League eCup against other minor league soccer clubs and organizations.
