Age Limit
There aren’t any age limits for the first team of Delaware Rising. All that matters is if you can compete at this level. With that being said, players under the age of 18 are required to have the proper waivers signed by a parent/guardian.
Time Commitment
We are an amateur soccer club with players that are also taking on school and/or work full time. We recognize this, but we expect players to be able to commit to training & playing in the Central and Northeastern Ohio areas for the duration of our summer season (May - mid July).
Our men’s team play 10-12 games that will usually take place on weekends (with occasional evening/night weekday games), however playing time is not guaranteed.
We will have two trainings per week in the evenings/nights. Only tryout if you can commit to this schedule.
Cost of Playing
Tryout Fee: $35 (Free for returning players) - which can be paid cash at check-in or you can pay online.
Player Dues: $450 (Returning Players $200) - We try to keep the cost of playing as little as possible to make competitive soccer accessible to our community (carpooling/limited travel). Players tryout fee will go towards their dues. Players will receive 2 DRFC Game Kits (personalized jersey w/ your name/shorts/socks). 2 Training Kits (shirt/shorts).

We can do a bimonthly installment, and/or we can offer advertising opportunities for a business in exchange to help cover your fees.
Please note: we currently do not pay our players, or offer housing.

We will send you an email later on with the liability forms that need to be filled out for the upcoming tryout, which will take place on December 14th 4:00-5:30 at Buckeye Valley High School stadium in Delaware, OH. Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to check in.
