It is our pleasure to officially release our 2022 Summer Roster!
Our coaches are proud to bring in some of the most talented players in central Ohio. There was so much skill present at our tryout sessions, and many of these great players come from our very own city of Delaware!
Here is a list of players on the squad this year and a small bio about each of them:
Joshua Albright - Joshua hails from Martin, OH. Currently residing in Columbus, the defender brings a high level of experience and leadership having played at Marietta College. He mentioned that he wants to win trophies this season.
Bryce Alkire - Bryce is a returning player, and a Delaware native. A former Buckeye Valley High School player, he has played for local clubs his whole soccer career. He has great ball control, passing, and vision that makes him quite the threat. He is looking to make his mark his second year with Delaware Rising.
Seth Barrett - Seth is from Columbus, OH. Now residing in Delaware, he has European experience playing in the U19 Bundesliga with Quelle Fürth. He will be a great asset for the club this season. The midfielder is excited to represent the Delaware community.
Alex Brown - Alex is a Delaware native. A former Buckeye Valley High School player and now playing for Bluffton University. The midfielder looks forward to proving himself at this level and is stoked to play for the club.
Jeremy Carvajal - Jeremy is a returning player, currently living in Columbus. The Venezuelan brought speed and an attacking presence in the midfield. He’s overcome an injury from last season and is looking to contribute again this year.
Nathan Chwalik - Nathan is a returning player, a Delaware native. A former Buckeye Valley High School player and Walsh University player. As a forward he had two assists and a goal last season.
Robbie Comstock - Robbie is a returning player, from Piqua, OH. He currently resides in Delaware. The former UNOH defensive midfielder brings great physicality and defensive awareness, helping secure a massive clean sheet to send DRFC to playoffs last season.
Ludwig Conrad - Ludwig is a skilled winger from Powell, OH. He’s played for Olentangy Liberty High School as well as Wright State University. Ludwig is excited to take the pitch again especially with some of his former teammates.
Max Deckop - Max comes from Pataskala, OH. The midfielder played for Watkins Memorial and is known for his sportsmanship. Max is looking forward to the season and playing for Coach Tredway once again.
Jon Dembski - Jon is a returning player, from Piqua. He now currently resides in Delaware. As a defender he played an important role in getting to the playoffs last season, his speed and strength will continue to be a valuable asset.
Luke Fleming - Luke is a returning player, from Ashville, OH. The winger is one our younger players, but don’t let that fool you. He brings a mature and physical level of play that compliments his speed and skill on the ball. He netted one goal and one assist for us last season.
Jeramy Hermiller - Jeramy is from Ottawa, OH. The midfielder has played for Ottawa Glandorf High School and captained his youth club team, he will be playing at Findlay University. He’s excited to show what he’s capable of and link up with quality players in the area.
Eddie Kondrad - Eddie is from Lewis Center, OH. The defender has previously captained Olentangy Liberty High School. He is looking forward to playing for Delaware Rising and winning games alongside some of his former teammates.
Landon Kuhn - Landon is from Lewis Center. He played for and captained Olentangy Berlin, and the midfielder is now playing for Ohio Wesleyan University. He stood out at our tryouts sessions and will be a
Manuel Lozano - Manuel is a returning player. Originally from Venezuela having played for Aragua FC in the Primera División Venezolana. He now resides in Columbus. He has proven himself to be a quality defensive player that can also be an attacking threat having scored one goal last season.
Cody Lumby - Cody is from Sunbury, OH. He previously played for Big Walnut High School and now plays at Mount Union. He’s a midfielder and is looking to improve his abilities this summer with Delaware Rising.
Nick Manivilovski - Nick is a Delaware native, played for Olentangy High School, receiving honorable mention. He now plays for Baldwin Wallace University and is looking to stay sharp for his college season, while doing what he can to win a trophy with Delaware Rising.
Tanner Masters - Tanner is from Hebron, OH. The goalkeeper currently plays with Ohio Northern University, and will be putting in some training this summer to prepare for his next college season. You might get the chance to watch him in a scrimmage or two this summer!
Colin McComb - Colin is a Delaware native, and has played for Olentangy and is currently playing with Capital University. The forward will make a strong addition to the club.
Ryan Miller - Ryan is from Galena, OH. As a midfielder, he has played for Olentangy Berlin and now plays for Franciscan University where he received honorable mention as a freshman. He is excited about playing for the club and to continue honing his skills.
Mason Morris - Mason is from Lewis Center. He has played for Olentangy Berlin and was selected OCC special mention while winning districts. The forward is now playing at Baldwin Wallace University. Mason is excited to represent his community and is ready to take the field!
Sam Otto - Sam is a Delaware native. He currently plays for Buckeye Valley High School where he will be a senior in the fall. He’s hoping to get as much experience as possible and learn a lot with Delaware Rising this summer.
Ryland Owens - Ryland is from Pataskala, OH. He plays for Watkins Memorial High School and formerly for Liberty Christian, which is a nationally ranked school. Ryland is focused on making a name for himself in the sport and can’t wait for a season full of growth.
Sushil Prasad - Sushil is from India, and lives in Powell. He has played a the high school and college level in India and has recently moved to the area.
Sam Rosa - Sam is from Brazil, and now resides in Delaware with his family. He has played for Ponte Preta in Brazil’s Campeonato Brasileiro Série B, and has coached college and amateur teams of all levels. He is passionate about soccer and is thrilled to support the Delaware community.
John Seliskar - John is a Delaware native. He is a senior at Buckeye Valley High School and plays a key role as one of their main forwards. He’s glad to play for a local team.
Connor Sexton - Connor is a Delaware native. He played at Olentangy Berlin amongst a few of the other DRFC players. He is now the goalkeeper for Capital University. He’ll be a key player among our group, holding down the fort between the sticks.
Evan Scott - Evan is from Powell. He has previously played for Olentangy Liberty High school, which was a 2019 state runner up. The winger is now lacing up his boots with Baldwin Wallace. He will also be helping with the operations of the club as the DRFC Sports Management Intern. Evan is excited to play the sport he loves, while proving Delaware is better than any other part of Ohio!
Evan Wherley - Evan is a returning player, from Columbus. The former Notre Dame College player has a great knowledge of the game that allowed him to be utilized in numerous positions last season. He will continue to be an important player and leader at the club this year!
Nate White - Nate is from Waldo, but Delaware is considered his home. He’s a former Delaware Hayes winger and even received conference awards. He can’t wait to represent his home on the pitch!
Zach White - Zach (unrelated to Nate) is from Galena. He has played center back for Tiffin university, and will be transferring to Indiana University East this upcoming year. Zach is looking forward to improving his game, keeping fit, and of course bringing a title to Delaware Rising!
