Week 12 Recap – Men’s Final
The Delaware Rising Men’s side are NOSL Champions.
On Saturday night at Copley High School, Rising defeated Mansfield Liederkranz 2–1 in the NOSL Championship Final, capping off a historic season with the club’s first-ever league title, on the men’s side.
The Match
The final was tense from the start, with both teams fighting to control the midfield. Rising struck when Captain Landon Kuhn stepped up and converted a penalty in the first half to tie it for Delaware.
Rising stayed composed and pushed forward. The breakthrough came late in the second half, when Mubelele Mhango drove at the defense and delivered a perfect cross to Aidan Shepardson, who slotted home the winner.
The defense held strong in the closing minutes, and at the final whistle, Delaware lifted the NOSL trophy for the first time in club history.

Landon Kuhn (PK) – Captain’s composure from the spot gave Rising an early advantage.
Aidan Shepardson (assist: Mubelele Mhango) – Clinical back-post strike after Mhango’s surging run down the wing and grounded cross.
What’s Next
The men’s season has now officially concluded. After making history this year, the squad will take a well-earned break before returning to action in April 2026.
